Telnet Server aktivieren
Der Telnet Server kann durch folgenden versteckten link aktiviert werden:

Supervisor Zugriff
Nach Aktivierung des Telnet Zuganges ist ein Login mit admin... möglich. Admin hat aber nach Login auf dem NAS *KEINE* Supervisorrechte. Das System ist ein Linux System und der Supervisor heißt root. "Öffnen" des Systems ist aber trotzdem einfach: vi /etc/passwd und den Eintrag für das verschlüsselte Passwort beim User root entfernen. Danach geht Login als root ohne passwort und man sollte eines mit passwd setzen. ACHTUNG: Direkte Änderung an der Passwd ist riskant! Eine zerstörte Passwd verhindert jeden weiteren Login. Daher: 1.) Vorsicht 2.) Nach der Änderung als admin *NICHT* ausloggen sondern mit anderem Terminal Einlogversuch als root. Erst wenn das funktioniert, die Session aufgeben!
Ausführung eigener Scripte beim Startup
Beim Booten wird auf der Festplatte unter /*mntpoint*/local/etc/rc.d/ nach ausführbaren Scripten (*.sh) gesucht und diese entsprechend verarbeitet. Auf diese Weise lassen sich beim Startvorgang beliebig eigene Scripte ausführen. Das Verzeichnis existiert nach Initialisierung der Festplatten/Raid nicht, muss also selbst angelegt werden. Eine Verzögerung der Scriptausführung nach dem Prinzip des Userscript (Link auf Sausalito-Constructor) ist ebenfalls problemlos möglich.
